The Southern Pacific built 1,200 of these single-sheathed 50' box cars in 1923. Commonly known as door-and-a-half, these class A-50-6 cars lasted into the 1950s. The kit includes a 1-piece resin body with true Z bracing, a separate floor/underframe with parts for brake details, wood running board, wire grab irons, 3D-printed details, and decals. Does not include couplers or trucks.
